Have you been searching about new destinations for this summer? Many beautiful beaches, wide choice of great beach clubs, ultimate nightlife and many other things to do and see are the synonyms for Budva. The coastal area around Budva, called the Budva riviera, is the center of Montenegrin tourism. Budva is 2,500 years old, which makes it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic cost.
The rugged coastline of the Budva Riviera is around 38 km long, and it boasts many sandy beaches, coves, inlets, stone capes and small islands. Trust me, 10 days are not enough to visit all the beaches, that this beautiful town has to offer. One of the best and most visited, also my personal favorite is Ploce. Pretty much fun for young people, good music and great cocktails. Worth visiting. I would recommend taking a boat trip (5 euros), which will definitely, help you, avoid the traffic jam.
One of the most expensive and exclusive beaches in Montenegro is Sveti Stefan. On the left hand side, the entrance is free and the price is 50 euros per one umbrella and two sunbeds on the first row. The price descents, as you go few rows back. The right hand side is owned by a private resort and the entrance is 50 euros per person. We visited the left hand side obviously, and even though we paid a lot of money, we were disappointed because the water was dirty and it wasn’t anything special.
The island of Sveti Nikola or popularly named Hawaii island is located opposite to the town of Budva. It has 3 sandy beaches and a few restaurants. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The island is less than a kilometer away from the town, and it can be reached by boats that depart every day from all the beaches in Budva. The price of the boat trip that depart from the town is only 3 euros. It is definitely worth the visit so if you choice is Budva this day trip is a must.
