Special kind of post – 2nd birthday of The One That Travels – Most instagrammable spots in Paris

Happy Saturday dear friends,

This post is really special to me because I’m celebrating 2 years since I started the journey of The One That Travels. Traveling is the reason I challenged myself starting this blog and I thought sharing my latest trip to Paris it would be nice treat to celebrate my 2nd blogiversery . Do you agree with me? I don’t won’t to sound too mainstream but Paris is really always a good idea 🙂 🙂 :).trocadero_eiffel_tower_parisSo traveling is the best when it is about you and the things you wanna see, and experience something unfamiliar and leave with new skills or knowledge. I’m sure you are all familiar with Paris so there is no need for long intro. Perhaps, Paris is one of the most popular cities worldwide and due to my experience for a good reason. macarons_paris_eiffel_tower

Without doubt, 3 days in Paris is not enough, but I got to visit the most touristic attractions, and I also filmed a video, so check it out if you want to experience all in. When mentioning Paris, first thing that pops into your mind is the Eiffel Tower.eiffel_tower_trocadero_paris eiffel_tower_bynightcarosel_paris_eiffel_towerAnd that’s probably the best look you get 🙂 🙂 🙂 Tourists of all ages and from all countries come and visit this monument which is totally worth it. Strolling around is the best thing you can do, but if planning on visiting The Eiffel Tower or any popular attraction in Paris be prepared to wait in line.rue_del_iniversite_photo_shotAn obvious choice, but not mention of Rue de l’Universite would be complete without it. If you are on a hunt for perfect picture spots, this street is the most instagrammable place to take perfect Eiffel Tower shots. rue_del_universite_eiffel_tower_bynight (1)laduree_parisladuree_sweets_parisThere was actually a line in a pastry. Not any pastry but in Laduree. Trying the French macarons and wearing a beret is the Parisian must do. Also if you want to experience Paris as a proper locals you must visit the typical Parisian cafes.louvre_bynight_parislouvre_paris_gray_skayparis_louvreIf you a museum lover you are on the right place. Louvre is one of the most famous museums which dates from the 16th century. Also there are many more and there a match for everyone. moulin_rouge_parisfrench_corner_monmarteSacre Coeur is the basilica that gives you one of the best panoramic views from Paris.notre_dame_bridge_beretparis_notre_damenotre_dame_peignes_parisOn the other side (literally) Notre Dame is giving you totally different vibes of this city. It is south of river Seine and close to University Sorbonne. This part of Paris reflex art and it totally different from what you’ve expected. Also a must visit.paris_parisian_corner_cafefrench_onion_soup_parisian_cafeFrench_crepes_paris_concourdLet’s talk about French food. I was pleasantly surprised by the onion soap which is one of the typical French dishes. Must try. French Crepes (or pancakes) with Nutella is the most common street food so definitely give them a try. And don’t forget Laduree Macarons. It’s always macarons o’clock in Paris. Laduree cafe and shop is situated on Champ Elysees and it is more than a store. As everything in Paris it’s such an artistic place. This needed to have a mention and be prepared to splurge on macarons because they are quite expensive. typical_parisian_cafemachine_photo_eiffel_towerchamp_elysees_posingpalais_royal_gardensparisian_style.jpegI’m positive that there are many many other things to see and do in Paris so I’ll be happy to go back and experience this beauty over and over again.

I’ll never forget these amazing days abroad, that got me some valuable fresh prospective about taking vacations… I hope this post answered your Why visit Paris question..

Till next time…

Happy traveling…
