Happy Sunday,
Game of Thrones is over, and despite the ending ( for me, very disappointing ) it was one of the most epic shows ever. Some of the scenes were filmed at real life locations, and as I ‘m huge Game of Thrones fan, when traveling if I have the opportunity I try to visit them.
Real Alcazar de Sevilla ( Alcazar de Seville) is a royal palace in Seville, Spain built for the Christian king Peter of Castile.
Founded in the early Middle-Age , this palace, is a preeminent example of Mudéjar architecture in the Iberian Peninsula. The famous gardens of the Alcazar in Seville were depicted in many scenes of the Game of Thrones series. Game of Thrones was filmed in four parts of the Seville Alcazar: the Ambassadors’ Hall, Mercury’s Pool, the Baths of Maria de Padilla, and the gardens.
The entrance is around 13 Euros and if you want to skip the huge line I recommend you to book it online. You can book it on their official website. Also when purchasing the ticket you need to reserve the entrance time and again do it earlier because there is less people and you can get pretty photos.
The Palace is central right next to the cathedral so if your accommodation is in the city area you want need transport to get to it.
Whenever you are Game of Thrones fan or not if you are vising Seville you definitely need to give a visit to this place…
Have you been to Seville or Alcazar Palace before? Are there any Game Of Thrones fans here?? Let me know in the comments below…
Till next time…
Happy Traveling…
